Health Insurance and your Beliefs
I was reading an article this morning where they were discussing how,when we buy and pay our health Insurance premiums,the company can use those funds to take care of any heath care need that goes against our beliefs.The article was by the samaritanministries.org.I think it was actually an ad on the side of a news page. It also said that they share each others medical needs through a simple Biblical approach that does not involve Health Insurance. The monthly share,they go on to say, for a family of any size has never been more than $285.00 and Less for couple and single parent families.Sounds like a winner to me.Also something to think about as you pay your premiums,huh?They could be using your money to cover health care cost of a sinful life style.Like drug abuse or something.Anything that a policy covers,they can use your premiums for.Food for thought.I found this info on AFA online American Family

Well, The way they made it sound is that all our premiums we pay is like they go into a pool and it pays for covered needs. Could be from drug addictions or whatever.Like our money could be going to cover less than a heathful life style.I’m not sure as I said I was reading it from an ad. Sounds like this group has their own insurarance of sorts.Kind of like what o hear the Amish do. They raise money and pool it all for any of their health needs.

In Australia a non-profit Private Health Insurance HCF is a good choice because they do not pay their profits to shareholders. The profits are all returned to members who get to claim for more things. I think that HCF pay about 7-10% more back on health insurance claims than the other funds

I read similar article also named Health Insurance and your Beliefs, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
